Apoll 1.2.3 imports the polls from joomla native voting component

News - Development

Written by Hristo Genev Tuesday, 19 May 2009 08:03

Finally, I did something that should have been done months ago. As many users wished Apoll will now import the created polls from Joomla native Poll component. This is done by the installation script on the fly when the component is being installed. All the polls are imported unpublished. If you want to use them you will need to publish them. You will also need to specify the colors for the pie slices. Since the native poll component does not support colors the default color for pies is grey.

As I said the component will import the already created polls during instalation. Unfortunately there is no way you can do it afterwards. It's a little bit inconvinient but if you want your native polls imported you will need to reinstall Apoll.

Version 1.2.3 can be downloaded from the download section of this site.
