Apoll 1.0 is on its way

News - Development

The first official version of the Apoll voting component and module for Joomla 1.5 will be released in a few days. This will be my first ever public release of a Joomla component.В 

It will include:

Back end enhancements:

• drag and drop options reordering;
• choose how to display the results - with a pie chart flash graphic or the joomla default way;
• defining parameters (pie width, pie height, color of slices)
• many more;В В 

Front end enhancements:

• view pie results as animated pie chart;
• view all published polls in a table, with number of options and voters for each one
• sort the polls by name, voters or number of options

Of course the future development of this project will continue. Here are some of the planned /to-be-developed/ features.В 

Future enhancements:

• Processing the results of the voting module via ajax technology;
• sort by day of first vote, day of last vote;
